Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description This is a remote position. Location : Remote Engagement Type : Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract (Outside IR35) Duration : 6 months with auto renew Timezone : CET ± 3 hours Be part of our Global Engineering Network! One of our clients is looking for an expert in Cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, a strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Key Deliverables Develop and own the company's cloud strategy, including multi-cloud, hybrid-cloud, or single-platform approaches. Design and architect highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud solutions. Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Software Engineering teams to ensure alignment. Implement and manage core cloud services (compute, storage, networking, databases, security) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). Design and implement CI/CD pipelines integrated with cloud services for automated deployments. Requirements Ideal Profile Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing solutions on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Certifications: One or more professional-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect). Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge in core cloud services (VPC/VNet, IAM, EC2/VM, S3/Blob Storage, RDS/SQL DB, Lambda/Functions). Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance best practices. Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
