As an Application Consultant specializing in Mainframe Modernization, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive strategic initiatives and lead teams in implementing mainframe modernization strategies. You will play a key role in supporting the migration of mainframe applications to cloud platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to teams implementing in-place mainframe modernization and migration strategies.
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement mainframe modernization roadmaps, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
• Cloud Migration Support: Support the migration of mainframe applications to z-cloud and other cloud platforms from a mainframe perspective.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe modernization initiatives with existing systems and processes.
• Solution Delivery: Deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging expertise in mainframe and mainframe modernization concepts and technologies.
• Mainframe Modernization Expertise: Deep expertise in a wide range of concepts and technologies associated with Mainframe and Mainframe Modernization, including in-place modernization and migration of mainframe applications to cloud platforms.
• Technical Leadership Experience: Experience with technically leading and mentoring teams to implement mainframe modernization strategies and roadmaps.
• Cloud Migration Knowledge: Experience with supporting the migration of mainframe applications to z-cloud and other cloud platforms from a mainframe perspective.
• Mainframe Technology Proficiency: Applied knowledge of mainframe technologies, including the ability to develop and implement mainframe modernization roadmaps.
• Cross-Platform Understanding: Experience with integrating mainframe modernization initiatives with existing systems and processes, including collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Mainframe Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of mainframe architecture and its components, including the ability to design and implement modernization strategies.
• Cloud Computing Expertise: Experience with cloud computing platforms, including z-cloud, and knowledge of migrating mainframe applications to these platforms.
• IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices, including the ability to integrate mainframe modernization initiatives with existing systems and processes.
