Commercial Director, Spain SailGP Team
Ready to build the commercial engine of a national team in the fastest racing on water? Join the Spain SailGP Team as Commercial Director and help write the next chapter of Spanish sport on the global stage.
About SailGP
SailGP is the world's most exciting racing on water. Nations teams compete in identical F50 foiling catamarans, flying above the water at more than 100 km/h in iconic cities including Rio de Janeiro, New York, San Francisco, Valencia and Dubai. Built for broadcast, digital and live audiences, it is one of the fastest-growing sports and entertainment properties in the world.
About Spain SailGP Team
The Spain SailGP Team carries the Spanish flag on the SailGP circuit with world-class athletes. Under new international ownership, and with a new brand and identity launching for Season 7 (2027), the team is entering a new era with one clear ambition: to be the most commercially powerful team in the league and Spain's reference platform in premium international sport.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Commercial Director owns the team's partnership revenue. You will find, structure and close multi-year partnerships with Spanish, European and global brands, grow our existing partners, and build the commercial function as the team scales. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to sell, close and build.

- Revenue Ownership: Deliver and exceed annual revenue targets, with a qualified pipeline and accurate forecasting through CRM.
- Senior Relationships: Engage C-suite executives, CMOs and agencies, translating their business objectives into partnership solutions with clear ROI.
- Deal Structuring: Go beyond logos with hospitality and B2B programmes, content partnerships, licensing, value-in-kind and institutional partnerships.
- Commercial Platform: Define the team's rights inventory, valuation and rate card across F50 branding, kit, digital, content and race-event assets.
- Growth & Renewals: Lead renewal and upsell negotiations, working with marketing and activation to deliver measurable results for every partner.
- League Alignment: Work with SailGP's central commercial team to align team deals with league categories, exclusivities and event opportunities.
- Representation: Host partners and prospects at SailGP events and represent the team at industry forums.
- Leadership: Build, lead and daily manage Agencies and Agents
