Ready to take your commercial finance career to the next level? Join Goodman Fielder as a Commercial Analyst supporting our growing Food Ingredients portfolio.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent, offering the chance to work closely with Sales, Marketing and Category teams to turn financial data into actionable insights and better business decisions.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you'll gain broad commercial exposure, strengthen your business partnering skills and help drive long-term profitability across our portfolio.

What You Will Do

• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Category teams to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, Strategic Planning and S&OP processes.
• Deliver month-end reporting and analyse pricing, volume, margins and business performance.
• Develop financial models and business cases for new products, pricing and commercial investments.
• Analyse promotional performance, trade spend and product profitability to support decision-making.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Experience in commercial finance, financial analysis or finance business partnering.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a commercially focused mindset.
• Confidence communicating insights and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• A relevant degree in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP, BW or BI reporting experience is advantageous.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress towards it is highly regarded.
• FMCG, manufacturing or retail experience is advantageous.
