Location: Kazakhstan (Astana, Almaty, or Karaganda)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Customer and site-facing role with regular travel to mining sites and industrial facilities)

What you’ll do
• Opportunity Development: Identify and develop new comminution opportunities across Central Asia, engaging with customers from early project stages through to order placement.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with mining customers, understanding their site-specific crushing, HPGR, and screening needs to drive sales growth.
• Technical Solutions: Develop detailed process flowsheets and technical-economic justifications tailored to customer projects, ensuring solutions are optimized for site conditions.
• Sales Execution: Prepare and present comprehensive technical proposals including equipment specifications, performance estimates, and cost-benefit analyses to secure orders.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to proactively position Weir’s comminution solutions.
• Collaboration & Commissioning: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless equipment integration and support commissioning activities on site.
• Travel Requirements: Regular travel to mining sites and industrial facilities across Central Asia is essential to engage directly with customers and support project delivery.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:
• Extensive knowledge and experience in crushing and screening technologies within the mining industry.
• Fluent in Russian and Kazakh languages, with strong communication skills for customer engagement.
• Comfortable with frequent site visits and travel across Central Asia.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage opportunities independently.

Nice-to-haves:
• Previous sales experience in crushing and grinding applications or process engineering background in mining.
• Degree in Mining or Mineral Processing Engineering.
• Familiarity with HPGR technology and circuit modelling tools such as JKSimMet.
• Proficiency in English language.
