Role Description The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time remote role responsible for generating new business and expanding relationships with investors, developers, property owners, and business leaders across Canada and Mexico. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting virtual meetings to understand client needs, and presenting Northwest Advisory’s services in a clear, solutions-focused manner. The associate will prepare proposals, follow up on opportunities, negotiate terms within established guidelines, and maintain accurate records in the sales pipeline and CRM tools. The role also involves collaborating with consulting and operations teams to align client expectations, provide feedback from the market, and support long-term client relationships. Success in this role is measured by consistent new business, repeat engagements, and effective communication that supports confident project execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing commission-based deals.
  • Ability to understand and communicate project operations, property optimization, and development/investment concepts in a clear and practical way.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as CRM platforms, online meeting software, and basic office productivity applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, results-focused environment.
  • Experience in consulting, real estate, construction, investment advisory, or related fields is an asset.
  • Business-level English required; additional proficiency in Spanish or French related to Canada–Mexico markets is an advantage.
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, real estate, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
