Apply Description Oliver Mechanical Inc. is a leading commercial mechanical contractor in New Hampshire. We are seeking a Communications Intern to help enhance our corporate communications, with a heavy focus on digital media. The intern will support multiple projects through the course of the school year. Key priorities include implementing a number of ongoing digital marketing projects such as the go-live of a new website and the development of video assets. A major new project will be to research paid media channel options, such as programmatic advertising platforms, podcast advertising, Google Ads, and emerging AI-native ad formats, and leverage that information to drive communications planning. In addition, the intern will be a key member of the team developing social media content. And they will take on new communications projects as they arise and are required to support corporate strategy. This internship offers real world commercial experience and the opportunity to work directly with business leaders. The intern will walk away with a professional portfolio of work that will be used in corporate communications. The intern reports to the Head of Corporate Operations. This role is a part-time school-year internship. It is a paid position. It is estimated to be a 10-15 hours per week commitment. We will set the working schedule based on the intern’s class schedule as well as business needs. The role can predominantly be remote, however occasional meetings may arise that require the intern to travel to the company offices, job sites, or other locations. Requirements Research and evaluate paid media channels relevant to OMI’s target audiences. Summarize research findings and costs. Provide media strategy & implementation recommendations. Help and potentially lead implementation of the selected recommendations Develop social media plan and content Lead the development of video assets for use across communications channels Support the website rebuild, including final go live and post-launch evaluation vs goals Qualifications Currently enrolled in a program in communications, media, marketing, or a related field Share a portfolio of relevant work for review upon applying Self-starter, able to structure and execute work independently and on time Takes a collaborative approach and is open to feedback Communicates clearly and professionally across channels to a variety of individuals Familiarity with or interest in AI-driven search, SEO, or digital marketing strategy is a plus Available during weekday business hours Provide own transportation.
