Role Description The Communications Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, creating, and distributing clear, consistent messaging across internal and external channels. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases, announcements, and written content; supporting strategic communication initiatives; and coordinating messaging with relevant stakeholders. The role involves managing internal communications such as newsletters and updates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and brand voice. The Communications Specialist will also monitor communication performance, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to enhance engagement and clarity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to maintaining accurate, timely information flow across the organization.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
• Experience drafting Press Releases and other external communications for various audiences.
• Background in Strategic Communications, including planning and executing communication campaigns.
• Excellent Writing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and grammar.
• Experience with Internal Communications such as employee updates, newsletters, and intranet content.
• Relevant education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency with common digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, collaboration software).
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work inclusively with diverse teams and audiences.
