About the Opportunity

Social Refresh is partnering with an innovative US-based startup in the entertainment industry to recruit a Community Partnerships Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious company that's building a brand-new mobile-first microdrama streaming platform dedicated to creating faith and family-friendly entertainment for audiences around the world.

As the platform prepares for launch, you'll play a key role in introducing the platform to churches, ministries, faith-based organisations, and community leaders across the United States. Your focus will be on building genuine relationships, creating strategic partnerships, and helping establish a strong community of launch partners who share the company's vision and values.

As one of the company's early hires, you'll have the opportunity to shape the company's outreach strategy from the ground up while becoming a trusted ambassador for the brand.

What You'll Do

Partnership Development & Outreach

• Research and identify churches, ministries, faith-based organisations, and community groups across the United States.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partnership opportunities.
• Conduct proactive outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
• Introduce the company's mission, platform, and partnership opportunities to prospective organisations.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Relationship Management

• Build trusted relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, church staff, and faith-based organisations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for prospective partners.
• Maintain regular communication throughout the partnership journey.
• Support partners leading up to and during the platform launch.
• Ensure an exceptional partner experience throughout every interaction.

Community Growth

• Help grow awareness of the platform within church and faith-based communities.
• Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through referrals and community networks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximise partnership success.
• Support initiatives that strengthen engagement with faith and family-focused audiences.

Reporting & Business Insights

• Maintain accurate partnership records and activity within the CRM.
• Track outreach performance and partnership conversion metrics.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on outreach activities, partnership growth, and key insights.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations to improve partnership performance and outreach strategies.

Collaboration

• Work closely with leadership to develop outreach strategies and priorities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Social Media teams to align messaging and campaigns.
• Share feedback from churches and community partners to help shape future initiatives.
• Represent the company professionally and authentically in every interaction.

What We're Looking For

Required

• 3+ years' experience in partnerships, community engagement, relationship management, ministry, fundraising, business development, customer success, or a similar relationship-focused role.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfortable conducting proactive outreach via both phone and email.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Highly organised with excellent follow-up skills.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and community leaders.
• Reliable fibre internet and a suitable remote working environment.

Preferred

• Professional or volunteer experience within a church, ministry, faith-based organisation, or Christian nonprofit.
• Experience building partnerships or community relationships.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage outreach activities.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
