About Endowus

Endowus is an award-winning, independent fee-only wealth platform licensed in Singapore (MAS 101051) and Hong Kong (SFC BQR225). We serve over 300,000 clients—individuals, family offices, charities, and institutions—with over US$12 billion in assets under advice.

Our mission: help people invest better so they can live easier today, and better tomorrow. Today, we work with 100+ global leading asset managers across major asset classes – public markets, private markets, hedge funds and alternatives – and make it our job to assess and access their Best-in-Class funds, and advise clients on how to invest in these funds to reach their goals.

The team has deep domain knowledge in finance and technology, bringing together decades of experience from various banks and tech companies. We treasure our diversity in background and experience, and we look for people who share these beliefs in our mission.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with business teams to collect KYC and other supporting documents for individual, joint and corporate client onboarding
  • Perform KYC reviews of new and existing clients, including reasonableness checks and desktop research, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Conduct AML screening of existing client relationships and review source of wealth and source of funds (SOW/SOF) documentation against client profiles to identify potential AML risks, escalating issues to senior team members where needed
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to complete account maintenance activities on time, such as periodic reviews and changes to client profile information
  • Support the review of client accounts and transactions to identify and escalate potentially suspicious activity
  • Assist in updating and maintaining AML policies, procedures and operational documentation
  • Support ad hoc projects and AML-related audits

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Up to 3 years of experience in AML/KYC, compliance, client onboarding or operations within financial services is a plus, and relevant internships will be considered
  • Interest in AML/KYC and financial regulation, with a willingness to learn on the job
  • Familiarity with account opening and maintenance processes in Singapore or Hong Kong is an advantage but not required
  • Awareness of MAS, SFC or HKMA guidelines will be viewed favourably
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proactive, organised, resourceful and meticulous, with a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English for daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders across phone, email and chat. Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage for liaising with Mandarin- or Cantonese-speaking clients
  • Adaptable and positive, with the drive to take on new challenges every day
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable with technology and keen to learn new tools and systems
  • Excited about helping to build an innovative financial services company
  • Candidates must be able to legally work in Singapore; no work visa sponsorship will be provided
