Construction Specialist

Role Description This part-time remote Construction Specialist role at Centro de Diagnóstico por Imágenes CEDISA focuses on planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction and facility improvement projects for diagnostic and medical imaging spaces. The Construction Specialist will review architectural and engineering plans, provide technical input on layout and materials, and ensure alignment with healthcare facility standards and safety regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and supporting the preparation of documentation and reports. The role also involves conducting virtual inspections and follow-ups, tracking progress against milestones, identifying risks or issues, and recommending corrective actions. The Construction Specialist will collaborate closely with operations and clinical teams to minimize disruption to services and maintain quality and compliance throughout each project.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Construction and Architecture, with the ability to interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, including estimating, tracking expenses, and supporting financial reporting for projects.
• Experience with Inspection activities, quality assurance, and compliance with building codes and healthcare facility standards.
• Strong skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Background in healthcare, medical facilities, or similar regulated environments is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines part-time.
• Relevant technical or university degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
