Consultant Cardiologist

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Consultant Cardiologist. The Consultant Cardiologist will provide expert cardiology consultation services to support occupational health, wellness initiatives, and medical decision-making related to employees and project teams. Daily tasks may include reviewing clinical information, offering remote consultations, advising on cardiovascular risk management, and recommending diagnostic or treatment pathways in line with best practices. The role may involve collaboration with internal health and safety teams, contributing to health policies, and providing guidance on fitness-for-duty assessments where cardiovascular considerations are relevant. The consultant will document recommendations clearly, maintain confidentiality, and ensure adherence to applicable medical and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Cardiology, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
• Candidates should possess specialized skills in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular care to provide advanced guidance on diagnostic and therapeutic options.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Nuclear Medicine applications in cardiology, including interpretation of cardiac imaging and stress tests.
• Board certification or equivalent recognition in Cardiology, with a valid medical license in an appropriate jurisdiction.
• Several years of post-certification experience as a practicing cardiologist, preferably including consultation or telemedicine work.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex clinical information clearly to non-medical stakeholders.
• High level of professional integrity, commitment to patient confidentiality, and familiarity with international clinical guidelines.
• Comfort with digital tools and secure telehealth platforms to deliver remote consultation services.
