THE OPPORTUNITY

A founder-led UAE accounting and tax group is looking for an Operations Manager to take full ownership of its accounting practice: the clients, the team, the delivery and the growth.

You'll work side by side with the CEO and heads of department across the group, including a sister tax advisory firm. This is a role for someone who wants to grow with a business, not just work for one. As the practice grows, so do your team, your influence and your earnings.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

• AED 10,000 per month basic salary

• Plus recurring commission on client fees, paid every month:

– 2.5% from day one

– Rising to 5% once agreed growth and performance milestones are met

• Commission keeps paying for as long as each client stays with us and you're part of the team

• Every client you win and keep adds to your monthly income, with no cap on how far you take it

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Run the practice

• Own day-to-day operations: onboarding, bookkeeping, VAT and Corporate Tax delivery, deadlines and quality

• Keep every client compliant and every deadline met

• Continuously improve our systems and processes (cloud accounting, CRM, task management)

Advise clients

• Be the go-to tax expert on UAE Corporate Tax and VAT

• Take client meetings, online and in person, with confidence

• Build long-term relationships that keep clients with us for years

Grow the business

• Turn enquiries into clients and spot opportunities to do more for existing ones

• Own the numbers: growth, retention and delivery, reported monthly to the CEO

• Work with sales and marketing on campaigns and partner referrals

Lead the team

• Manage, coach and motivate the team reporting to you

• Set priorities, hold high standards and celebrate wins

• Help hire and develop new team members as we grow

WHO YOU ARE

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent)

• Excellent, hands-on knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT

• Experience in a UAE accounting or tax practice

• Proven experience managing people

• Hardworking and proactive. You see what needs doing and do it before anyone asks.

• A genuine team player who lifts the people around you

• Able to work remotely AND in person. You'll do both, every week, so you must be trustworthy and self-driven when no one's watching.

• Based in the UAE

Even better if you have:

• UK accounting or tax knowledge

• FTA Registered Tax Agent status

• Xero or similar cloud accounting experience
