Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Consultant Radiologist/Radiologist based in Lagos, with some flexibility for work-from-home reporting and consultations. The Radiologist will interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and other modalities, and provide clear, timely reports to referring clinicians. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing imaging requests for appropriateness, ensuring high-quality imaging protocols, collaborating with technologists, and participating in multidisciplinary discussions on complex cases. The role also involves advising on imaging-guided procedures, contributing to quality assurance initiatives, and adhering to relevant clinical, safety, and data protection standards.

Role Overview
We are seeking a licensed Radiographer to join our team and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate should be technically competent, patient-focused, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and certify diagnostic imaging examinations accurately and efficiently.
• Review and report on X-ray and ultrasound within areas of competence.
• Correlate imaging findings with patients' clinical history and relevant investigations.
• Provide clear and clinically useful radiology reports.
• Discuss significant or urgent findings with referring physicians when appropriate.
• Provide professional guidance and support to radiographers and sonographers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and case reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable professional, ethical, and patient-safety standards.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement of imaging services.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate reporting records.
• Stay current with developments in diagnostic imaging and radiological practice.
Requirements
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCR) or West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), Radiology, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Current registration/licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Proven clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide timely and accurate reports.
• Strong commitment to patient care, professional ethics, and confidentiality.
