About us

Cronofy is the temporal infrastructure layer at the heart of how work gets done. We've spent over a decade building the orchestration layer that keeps workflows in step – unifying availability control, coordinating the full scheduling lifecycle, and unlocking meeting intelligence. Trusted by 400 leading SaaS products and powering over 180,000 businesses worldwide, including GoDaddy, Indeed, Wise and Squarespace.

As every business races to unlock actual outcomes from AI, the infrastructure connecting agents, systems and teams has never mattered more. Every person who joins our distributed team – headquartered in Nottingham with offices in London and Amsterdam – can have a direct hand in shaping what comes next, with real opportunity to grow fast for those who share our principles.

The role

This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly to our VP of Marketing. You'll own the pipeline that comes from being found: organic search, AI assistants and answer engines, and the organic distribution we build over time. How people research B2B products has changed more in two years than in the previous ten – buyers ask AI assistants, read answers instead of results pages, and arrive at vendors having already formed a view. We think that's an opportunity for whoever encodes their story best, and this role exists to win it.

You won't be a solo creator producing content in a corner. You'll run a growth engine: an editor powered by AI who raises the pace and quality of everything we publish, partners with subject matter experts across the company and our customer base to make their knowledge legible, and empowers the rest of the team to create high-quality content themselves – campaign assets, enablement pieces, ad copy – through the briefs, templates and workflows you build, so quality scales without you becoming the bottleneck. You'll be the filter for what good looks like: copywriting quality, taste, and whether a piece has earned its place.

How you'll work

  • Organic pipeline: Own how Cronofy gets discovered and cited across search engines and AI assistants (SEO and AEO) – one of our largest and best converting sources of pipeline. Set the strategy, execute the plan, and be accountable for the growth in pipeline.
  • Distribution engine: Build the organic reach that means our content works harder than its first publish – how it travels through LinkedIn, communities, newsletters and the people who carry it. This is not something we excel at, so you'll get to truly design it rather than inherit it.
  • AI-powered: You believe that AI doesn’t automatically mean AI slop, but use AI as a force multiplier for research, drafting and analysis as well as empowering others around you to get high quality content faster – behaving more like an editor than an isolated copywriter. We've invested heavily in our Claude Code workspace: you'll make the most of it and directly build and extend skills and agents, while developing our tone of voice and holding ourselves to a high standard.
  • Partnership with experts: Our best content often comes from subject matter experts – founders, engineers, salespeople, customers. Interview them, mine recorded customer calls, and turn what they know into content with a point of view.
Expected outcomes within 12 months: a measurable increase in organic pipeline against the baseline we'll share with you, a proven distribution model we can scale, and an effective content system the rest of the team visibly uses.

Our stack

Who we think you are

You're a writer and editor with a point of view, who treats search and AI answer surfaces as the distribution layer for good thinking rather than a game to be played. You have taste, and you can defend it. You're curious enough to interview an engineer about API architecture in the morning and a recruiter about interview scheduling in the afternoon, and honest enough to kill a piece that isn't working. You love creating to engage an audience, and bring an experience in building and growing an audience already. You believe AI raises the floor of content production, which makes human judgment about what's true, interesting and different the scarcest input – and you're excited rather than threatened by that.

You and your approach

About you

Your capabilities

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B content, SEO/organic growth, or both.
  • AI: you can demonstrate the skills you’ve built and what you learned in the process – and are excited about the possibilities without being naive about the challenges and shortcomings.
  • Craft: You can show us published long-form where you clearly understood the subject rather than paraphrasing it – and tell us what it changed for the business.
  • Search fluency: You’ve seen first hand how search engines and AI assistants find, judge and cite content, and you've acted on it despite a fast evolving space. You don't need to be a technical SEO – you need to know what makes content get retrieved and quoted.
  • Editorial leverage: You've edited other people's work (human or AI-drafted) to a standard, and can describe your bar.
  • Mindset: Accountable to a number, comfortable with ambiguity, and biased to publish and learn over polish and delay.

How we work

Our principles guide how we approach everyday.

We work hard but insist that everyone considers the balance between work and their life and responsibilities outside. We are direct in our dealings with each other. We continuously work to build mutual trust so that we can give each other feedback without fear of it being taken personally.

We can support a predominantly remote, office-based or hybrid working model. We do really value face-to-face time and, where circumstances allow, encourage teams to spend regular time together at suitable locations. As our current Marketing team is based in London (near London Bridge), the successful applicant should be based in, or within a reasonably commutable distance, to the London city centre.

Hiring process

  • A 30-minute screening call with our VP of Marketing.
  • A 1-hour interview with our VP of Marketing to explore your experience and approach.
  • A panel-based discussion including a practical task and principle fit evaluation.

    • Basic salary of £60,000 – £70,000, depending on experience.
    • Pension scheme matched at 5% (gross)
    • 25 days holiday in addition to flexible national holidays. National holidays are added to your holiday allowance and you're not required to take them on the corresponding day.
    • 6 personal development days per year to use for learning and development, charitable causes or similar
    • Private medical care with Bupa
    • Medicash Proactive cash plan for dental, optical etc.
