Role Description The Content Creator (Unisex Salon) is a full-time hybrid role based in Ibadan, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. The role involves planning, creating, and publishing engaging digital content that showcases the salon’s services, brand, and client experience across social media platforms and other online channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing content calendars, capturing and editing photos and short videos, writing compelling captions and short-form copy, and collaborating with salon management to align content with promotional campaigns and brand guidelines. The Content Creator will also monitor audience engagement, respond to online inquiries or comments in line with the brand voice, and suggest creative ideas to increase visibility, client bookings, and overall online presence. Coordination with the salon team for content shoots, client testimonials, and special offers will be a regular part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in social media content creation for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands, including photo and short-form video production and basic editing.
• Ability to develop and follow content calendars, plan campaigns, and create consistent, brand-aligned messaging for a unisex salon environment.
• Good writing skills for captions, short posts, and promotional content, with attention to grammar, clarity, and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and basic understanding of how to increase reach and engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with salon staff and clients during content shoots and testimonials.
• Ability to work both on-site in Ibadan and remotely, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines for content delivery.
• Previous experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management for salons, spas, or related sectors is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of branding and visual aesthetics relevant to hair, beauty, and personal care services is beneficial.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is an added benefit.
