The Role

SureSkills is looking for a Learning & Development Content Maintenance Specialist to join a team supporting the ongoing maintenance and quality of large-scale technical learning programmes.

This role would suit someone with a background in Instructional Design, digital learning or technical training content who enjoys structured, process-driven work and has an interest in technology, cloud computing and AI.

You’ll support the full lifecycle of course maintenance across both Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and On-Demand (OD) learning. The work will involve reviewing learner feedback, identifying content issues, updating course assets, supporting multimedia changes, preparing materials for publishing and carrying out quality assurance across live learning environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Review learner feedback and course data to identify content issues, trends and required updates.
• Use structured data, reporting and AI tools to support feedback and sentiment analysis.
• Review existing course content and categorise issues based on technical complexity and the type of update required.
• Track bugs, defects and maintenance activity across internal and external issue-tracking systems.
• Update technical learning content across slides, readings, quizzes, assessments and supporting materials.
• Maintain both instructor-led and on-demand versions of course content.
• Document before-and-after changes, technical issue references and any impact on voice-over or multimedia assets.
• Support the creation and maintenance of video, audio, voice-over and caption assets.
• Work with tools such as Google AI Studio, Google Vids, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar platforms.
• Prepare learner and instructor documentation for publishing.
• Maintain metadata, repository links, changelogs and course documentation.
• Support content publication across staging and live learning platforms.
• Carry out post-publication testing and quality checks.
• Archive completed work and prepare trackers, repositories and outstanding items for future maintenance cycles.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Instructional Design, learning content development, technical training, digital learning or a closely related area.
• Hands-on experience maintaining or updating existing learning content, rather than working solely on new course creation.
• Experience working across different learning formats, ideally including Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and On-Demand / self-paced learning.
• Experience reviewing learner feedback, identifying content issues and translating findings into practical content updates.
• Experience working with structured content review, QA, publishing or release processes.
• Strong experience using Google Workspace, particularly Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive.
• Experience working with issue-tracking or workflow tools such as Jira, GitHub Issues or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with version control, Git or repository-based content workflows would be a strong advantage.
• Experience working with technical or software-related subject matter, with an understanding of cloud computing concepts highly desirable.
• Some exposure to SQL, structured data or reporting would be beneficial.
• Experience working with multimedia learning assets, including video, voice-over, captions or subtitles, would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Google Vids, Google AI Studio or similar would be useful.
• Experience using Generative AI tools to support content analysis, review, drafting or workflow automation would be an advantage.
