Content Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

Do you love writing? Do you like seeing your work rank at the top of search results, show up in AI answers, and drive real leads and revenue? We're looking for a content marketer to write and optimize the content that helps homeowners, farmers, and business leaders make big decisions about solar energy and broadband internet.

You'll create content for two growing brands, Paradise Energy Solutions and Upward Broadband.

What you'll do

• Write blog posts and articles that answer real customer questions, following the They Ask, You Answer (Endless Customers) approach.

• Write video scripts for our YouTube channel - The Solar Energy Channel, sales videos, social clips.

• Write email campaigns, web pages, buyer's guides, press releases, guest posts, newsletters, case studies, and printed pieces.

• Optimize content for search and AI visibility, including featured snippets, Google's AI Overviews, and tools like ChatGPT.

• Refresh and improve existing content to lift rankings and keep it accurate.

• Manage our brands' Reddit presence, joining community discussions in a helpful, authentic voice.

• Help distribute and promote content across email, Reddit, and other digital channels, and support direct mail and other marketing initiatives.

How you'll spend your time

What you'll bring

• Clear, engaging writing that makes technical topics easy for everyday readers to understand

• Working knowledge of SEO: keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization, and content refreshes

• Understanding of AEO and AI search visibility, meaning content structured so AI tools surface and cite it

• Experience managing or engaging brand communities on Reddit or similar platforms

• Openness to feedback and revision, and comfort owning a project from idea to published piece

• 1–3 years of experience in content marketing, SEO, or a related agency or in-house role

• Comfort using AI tools to speed up research and drafting, with the judgment to know they’re a tool, not the author. Every piece starts and finishes with you and our subject matter experts

Nice to have

• Experience with They Ask, You Answer / Endless Customers and Storybrand frameworks

• Reddit experience

• Digital PR or earned media experience

• Background in solar, energy, telecom, a service-based industry, or other industries where buyers research carefully before purchasing

• Familiarity with Zoho Marketing Automation, Claude, HubSpot AEO, SEMRush/Ahrefs

Where you'll work

This is a hybrid role based at our Paradise, PA office. You'll typically work on-site two days a week, with occasional extra days for projects or events. We’re moving to a new office in Mount Joy, PA when it opens in late 2027. Expect some travel to customer sites, company locations, trade shows, and conferences.
