This is a hybrid role (3 days office / 2 days remote) with flexible working hours. Standard hours are approximately 09:00–17:30 EET/EEST, with flexibility to start earlier when supporting colleagues and entities across the APAC time zones.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, local GAAP, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee VAT, corporate income tax, statutory filings, payments, and related reconciliations.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and support SOX reviews, internal and external audits, VAT audits, and tax audits.
  • Partner with business teams, auditors, tax authorities, and external service providers to address issues and support decision-making.
  • Manage operational and compliance risks, ensuring that corrective actions are completed and issues are escalated when necessary.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and the integration of relevant systems, including SAP.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least eight years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Previous experience leading, coordinating, and developing finance professionals.
  • Experience managing or coordinating accounting and controllership activities across multiple countries, legal entities, or a wider geographical region.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting, period-end closing, tax compliance, audits, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
  • Experience working in a multinational, shared-services, or matrix environment is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Nice to Have

  • A recognized professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CECCAR, ACA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • An additional European language, particularly German, French, Italian, or Spanish.
