Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and enhancing Tmob’s volunteer initiatives. This role includes recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers, as well as delivering training and guidance to ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities and feel engaged. The Coordinator will maintain regular communication with volunteers, respond to questions, and foster a positive, inclusive environment. Day-to-day tasks include tracking volunteer hours, updating databases, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal teams to align volunteer programs with community and company goals. The role also involves coordinating community outreach activities, identifying partnership opportunities, and continuously improving volunteer processes and experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training, with the ability to coordinate, support, and motivate diverse volunteer groups.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to build trust, maintain engagement, and work effectively with volunteers, colleagues, and community partners.
• Experience in Community Outreach, including planning and executing initiatives that strengthen relationships with external organizations and communities.
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle scheduling, reporting, and multiple projects in a dynamic, remote environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools and collaboration platforms; experience maintaining volunteer databases or CRM systems is an advantage.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Prior experience in nonprofit, CSR, or community engagement programs is beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in social sciences, communications, management, or a related field is preferred.
