  • Coordinate and support student ambassadors and other student leaders to deliver activities, events, peer support and engagement opportunities that strengthen the student experience.
  • Build productive relationships across UQ and use program outcomes, participation trends and student feedback to inform continuous improvement and future initiatives.

About You

  • An undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant experience in student engagement, student success, transition programs, community development or a related field within higher education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering programs, projects and initiatives that enhance student transition, belonging, engagement and success.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and collaborate with students, staff, student organisations and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting, coordinating and developing student ambassadors, volunteers, peer leaders or student staff to achieve high-quality program outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and report on program data, student feedback and participation trends to evaluate outcomes and support continuous improvement.
  • Strong organisational, project coordination and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and operational requirements in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary transition, engagement and belonging practices within higher education and an ability to translate this knowledge into effective programs and student support initiatives.
