Act as a statutory officer for the Central Bank, CVM or any applicable regulator. Build and manage relationships with partners, intermediaries, and institutional counterparties, and establish the local brand credibility on which distribution in Brazil depends. Lead the establishment and running of the local office and the administrative foundation of the entity, including corporate housekeeping, statutory filings, premises, payroll, banking relationships, and local service provider arrangements. Ensure the entity's policies, procedures, and internal controls are applied in practice, kept current, and tested. Represent the entity with clients, partners, regulators, banks, service providers, and industry bodies. Coordinate with Capital.com Group functions so that services provided to the entity operate effectively and in compliance with applicable Brazilian requirements. Prepare or oversee reporting for the shareholder, the Board where constituted, and LATAM and Group management. Maintain the fit and proper standing required for the appointment throughout its term, and notify LATAM management promptly of any matter that may affect it. Requirements An academic degree at bachelor's level or above; MBA or postgraduate qualification considered an advantage. A minimum of 7 years of experience in the Brazilian financial or capital markets sector — securities distribution, brokerage, investment platforms, asset management distribution, or a DTVM or CTVM — of which at least 5 years at senior management or statutory officer level. A demonstrable track record in sales, distribution, or business development, with direct accountability for revenue or client growth in a regulated financial services business. Experience of building or managing intermediary, investment agent, or partner distribution networks is considered a significant advantage. A good understanding of the markets in which the entity will operate, including equities and exchange-traded funds, and of the broader investment services landscape in Brazil. Sound working knowledge of the Central Bank and CVM regulatory framework applicable to a DTVM, in particular internal controls, suitability, and customer relationship obligations. Experience of, or credible readiness for, appointment as a statutory officer of an institution authorised by the Central Bank of Brazil. Must satisfy the Central Bank of Brazil's fit and proper requirements, including unblemished reputation, competence, and technical qualification compatible with the functions to be performed. Must not be subject to any impediment or adverse finding recorded by a regulatory authority. Any concurrent professional engagement, including external non-executive positions, must be disclosed and assessed for conflicts of interest and for compatibility with the commitment required by the role. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to build credibility and trust with clients, partners, and intermediaries in a relationship-driven market. Ability to operate effectively and to build sound processes in a newly established business with a lean local team.
