COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE | REMOTE WORLDWIDE
The Council of International Chambers of Commerce (CICC) is seeking qualified business leaders, entrepreneurs, senior professionals, institutional representatives, and public- or private-sector officials to serve as CICC Country Representatives in more than 100 countries.
This remote, country-based role involves representing CICC, developing strategic relationships, and supporting international trade, investment, business cooperation, and economic development initiatives.

Job Description
The Country Representative will act as CICC’s official contact in the assigned country, representing the Council with professionalism and supporting its international programs, partnerships, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent CICC in the assigned country and relevant professional forums.
- Build relationships with government institutions, chambers of commerce, businesses, investors, diplomatic missions, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for trade, investment, partnerships, sponsorships, and economic cooperation.
- Support CICC projects, programs, events, delegations, and country initiatives.
- Coordinate with CICC leadership and international representatives.
- Promote CICC’s programs, services, and cooperation opportunities.
- Provide relevant market intelligence, stakeholder information, and activity reports.
- Maintain CICC’s professional standards, reputation, and values.
Requirements
- Established professional standing and credibility in the respective country.
- Strong knowledge of the national business, economic, or institutional environment.
- Relevant networks across government, business, finance, or professional sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, representation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate internationally.
- Integrity, discretion, initiative, and sound professional judgment.
- Fluency in the local language; English proficiency is highly desirable.
- Experience in international business, trade, investment, economic development, or institutional cooperation is an advantage.
Compensation and Engagement
This is a professional representative and strategic engagement opportunity, not a conventional salaried employment position. Compensation and benefits may include performance-based remuneration, participation in eligible CICC projects, and opportunities connected to successfully developed partnerships and initiatives. Specific terms will be discussed with qualified candidates.
