Company Description ADinB – Advertising in Business is a multidisciplinary communication, events, and creative agency based in Abu Dhabi. The team helps organizations communicate with clarity, empathy, and purpose through strategy, branding, social media, public relations, experiential work, and production. Grounded in meaningful storytelling and strategic thinking, ADinB focuses on creating relevance, strengthening connections, and delivering lasting impact. The agency collaborates with partners across government, education, social development, community, and culture-led sectors to develop brands, campaigns, and experiences that bring ideas to life in a thoughtful, human-centered way.
Role Description As a Creative Exhibition & Spatial Experience Designer at ADinB, you will design experiential environments and spatial concepts for exhibitions, events, and brand activations. You will translate strategic and creative briefs into 2D and 3D layout plans, mood boards, and visual presentations that align with brand narratives and project goals. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with strategists, account teams, and producers, refining design concepts based on feedback, and preparing detailed design documentation for production and installation. Strong understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication methods, structures, lighting, and production processes to ensure feasibility, quality, and consistency with the design intent. This is a full-time remote role, requiring strong self-management, clear communication, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams in different locations.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in 3D spatial design, architecture, interior design, exhibition design, or experiential design who understands both sides of the process: developing ambitious creative concepts and turning them into practical, buildable experiences.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in creative, exhibition, experiential, spatial, interior, architectural, or related design roles.
- Graduates of GUC, AUC, and MIU are encouraged to apply, as well as qualified candidates from other relevant design, architecture, and creative disciplines.
- A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating concept development, spatial thinking, attention to detail, and a human-centered approach to design.
- Portfolio submission is mandatory. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Strong 3D visualization and spatial design skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and convincingly.
- A strong eye for detail, aesthetics, composition, scale, proportion, and spatial storytelling.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication techniques, construction methods, and production processes.
- An understanding of how creative concepts move from initial design through technical development, fabrication, installation, and on-site execution.
- The ability to balance creative ambition with practicality, feasibility, budgets, timelines, and production limitations.
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to develop experiences that are not only visually compelling but also purposeful and relevant to the audience.
- Curiosity about new materials, technologies, interactive solutions, immersive experiences, and evolving experiential trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the rationale behind creative and spatial decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across creative, strategic, production, and client-facing teams.
What You'll Do:
- Develop experience journeys and visitor flows, considering the full experience from arrival and discovery through interaction, engagement, and exit.
- Translate creative and strategic concepts into spatial zoning, layouts, 3D environments, and experiential moments.
- Develop creative concepts for events, exhibitions, stands, activations, installations, immersive experiences, and branded spaces.
- Think critically about how people move, interact, discover, navigate, and engage within a physical environment.
- Create spatial concepts that balance storytelling, functionality, aesthetics, and visitor experience.
- Develop and communicate ideas through sketches, mood boards, layouts, 3D visualizations, renders, and presentation materials.
- Explore and recommend materials, finishes, structures, lighting, furniture, environmental graphics, and spatial details that bring concepts to life.
- Understand how digital technologies, interactive installations, AV solutions, lighting systems, and other experiential technologies can enhance the overall experience.
- Stay informed about emerging trends across spatial design, experiential design, architecture, events, exhibitions, materials, technology, and interactive experiences.
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, account management, events, and production teams to develop ideas from initial concept through to final execution.
- Work with production teams, suppliers, and fabricators to ensure concepts are technically feasible, buildable, and delivered in line with the original design intent.
- Refine and adapt designs based on creative, client, technical, budgetary, and production requirements.
- Maintain a high level of consistency and attention to detail throughout the design and execution process.
