Creator Researcher, TikTok Shop (UK / Canada)
Remote, based in the United Kingdom or Canada · Full-time
About us
We are one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands, bringing together mental wellness, inclusivity, and elevated comfort in everything we make. Our mission goes beyond clothing: we're building a community where everyone feels supported and seen.
About the role
We are expanding our TikTok Shop presence internationally, and creators are at the heart of that growth. As Creator Researcher, you'll find the creators who will drive sales in the UK and Canada. You'll dig into TikTok every day to spot rising talent, judge brand fit and selling potential, and build a well-organised pipeline the affiliate team can act on fast. This role suits someone who lives on TikTok, has a sharp eye for what converts, and loves turning research into results.
What you'll do
Creator discovery. Find creators in fashion, comfort, lifestyle, wellness and self-care across the UK and Canada, from nano to mid-tier, through TikTok search, the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center, hashtags, trends and creator tools.
Vetting and scoring. Assess each creator on audience fit, engagement quality, content style, GMV history and sales track record, and brand safety. Flag fake followers and poor-fit accounts.
Pipeline building. Keep a clean, prioritised creator database with contact details, metrics, tier, category, region and outreach status.
Trend and competitor insight. Track trending formats, sounds, and the creators driving sales for competing apparel and lifestyle brands, and share weekly insights with the team.
Outreach support. Prepare shortlists and briefs for the Affiliate & Creator Manager, and help with first-touch outreach and sample-request screening where needed.
Reporting. Report weekly on pipeline volume, creator quality, and how researched creators perform once they're activated, so we keep improving how we pick creators.
What we're looking for
1 to 3 years in creator or influencer research, influencer marketing, talent scouting, or social commerce.
Deep, everyday fluency with TikTok, plus knowledge of the TikTok Shop Affiliate Center and how creators sell on the platform.
A good eye for what makes a creator convert, beyond follower counts.
Strong research and organisation skills, and comfort managing large datasets in Google Sheets, Airtable, or a creator CRM.
An understanding of the UK and Canadian creator landscapes and audience differences.
Attention to detail, plus the ability to work independently and hit weekly pipeline targets.
Based in the UK or Canada, with excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
Experience with creator discovery tools such as Kalodata, FastMoss, Modash, Grin, or Aspire.
A background in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle DTC.
Familiarity with ASA and CAP influencer guidelines in the UK and Ad Standards influencer disclosure rules in Canada.
French language skills for Quebec-based creators.
Must haves
Hands-on TikTok creator research, ideally including TikTok Shop affiliates.
Can judge creator quality using engagement and sales data.
Based in the UK or Canada.
Why join us
You'll shape who represents us as we launch TikTok Shop in new markets, and see your picks turn into sales.
You'll work closely with our social commerce and affiliate teams in a fast-moving, creator-first brand.
It's a remote-friendly role with clear room to grow into creator partnerships or affiliate management.
