Job Title: Credit & KYC Manager LOD1 [Kierownik ds. Analiz Kredytowych i KYC LOD1]

Reporting Line: Commercial Director

Location: Warsaw, Poland

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Credit & KYC Manager (LOD1) to lead our Credit Risk and Know Your Customer (KYC) operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective credit and KYC processes, managing operational performance, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

You will work closely with local and international stakeholders, while overseeing both local activities and processes delivered through the Ayvens Shared Service Center. This is a key leadership position that combines people management, risk oversight, process improvement, and business partnership.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and develop the local Credit & KYC function, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage end-to-end Credit and KYC processes, including onboarding, credit assessments, periodic reviews, and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Group standards.
• Monitor key operational and risk indicators, identifying trends and implementing improvement actions.
• Act as business owner for offshored Credit & KYC activities.
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and support local projects, process changes, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner closely with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and other business stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team while fostering a strong risk and customer-focused culture.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely execution of remediation actions.

What we are looking for

• Several years of experience in Credit Risk, KYC/AML, Financial Services, Banking, Leasing or a related field.

• People leadership experience would be considered a strong asset (however, we also welcome candidates with strong stakeholder management skills and the potential to grow into a leadership role).
• Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory requirements, and operational control frameworks.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience in process improvement, digital transformation, and implementation of new solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and Polish.
