Role Description The Credit Risk Officer is a full-time remote role responsible for assessing and monitoring credit exposures related to the college’s financial operations, student financing arrangements, and institutional partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, setting and reviewing credit limits, and tracking the performance of credit portfolios. The role involves developing and maintaining credit risk policies, preparing risk reports, and recommending mitigation strategies to ensure the institution’s financial stability. The Credit Risk Officer will collaborate with finance, admissions, and senior leadership to align credit risk practices with institutional goals and regulatory requirements. This position requires proactive risk identification, clear documentation, and effective communication of findings and recommendations.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Risk Management and Credit assessment.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for data analysis, risk modeling, and decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Finance, including financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
- Candidates should possess experience in Portfolio Management, including monitoring, reporting, and optimization of credit exposures.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications or graduate studies are an advantage.
- Experience in educational institutions, financial services, or similar environments is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
