Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Cross Functional Database Analyst is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Finance departments by providing critical data insights, enhancing data quality, and developing business intelligence assets. The incumbent will analyze marketing and financial data, enabling data-driven decisions that support Everwise’s business objectives. This role will act as a key contributor to data governance initiatives, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and alignment across organizational data assets.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare, analyze, and validate both marketing and financial data to ensure accuracy and data quality.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence assets such as reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that serve marketing and financial insights.
- Conduct and analyze Net Promoter Score surveys and additional customer/member satisfaction metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance member experience.
- Perform market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
- Evaluate marketing campaign ROI, identify patterns in financial data, and provide insights to support strategy adjustments.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Finance teams to define key metrics, streamline data processes, and improve data quality.
- Data Governance: Support and enforce data governance policies, implement data validation standards, and contribute to regular data quality audits.
- Document data relationships, standards, and processes to maintain alignment with the organization’s data governance framework.
- Assume additional responsibilities as necessary to support the growth and advancement of Everwise.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong mathematical, logical, and analytical aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in technical creativity and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- In-depth understanding of data governance principles, including validation techniques and data quality management.
- Proficiency with computer, business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Collaborative and adaptable working independently, with a team, and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Marketing, Finance, or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience analyzing financial or marketing data, developing reports, and managing data models.
- Experience with database technologies, including data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc. in addition, Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience in data governance or data management roles preferred.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools preferred.
Location Eligibility
This position is open to candidates residing in the South Bend-Mishawaka region or Greater Indianapolis region.
