Cryptography Specialist

🚀 We are looking for a Senior Cryptography & Key Management Specialist!

📍 Hybrid – 2/3 days per week onsite (Lisbon or Porto)

Only candidates residing in Portugal will be considered

Responsibilities:

• Define security requirements and strategies for cryptography, encryption at rest, and key management.
• Support business units and subsidiaries in implementing security measures and ensuring data protection.
• Analyse and assess cybersecurity risks, evaluate their impact, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Assess the robustness of technical designs, security architectures, data protection mechanisms, and cryptographic key management processes.
• Recommend appropriate data protection techniques, including encryption, anonymization, and data masking.
• Participate in technical POCs, monitor technological developments, and contribute to the cybersecurity community.
• Define Group-level security requirements and contribute to cryptographic asset inventory and crypto-agility initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Cybersecurity, particularly Cryptography, Encryption at Rest, and Key Management.
• Solid knowledge of IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and data protection mechanisms.
• Experience assessing security architectures, technical designs, and cryptographic solutions.
• Knowledge of encryption, anonymization, data masking, and cryptographic asset management.
• Understanding of crypto-agility and the ability to anticipate security risks and propose effective countermeasures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and IT.
• Fluent English.
