CTO and Co founder at Ett tak

Ett tak is developing a housing platform that helps students find verified homes and meet their future housemates before deciding. With a concept and working prototype in place, we are looking for a CTO and co-founder to lead the next stage of development.

The role

You will own the technology and work closely with the founder to turn the prototype into a secure, reliable product for a first university pilot.

Your responsibilities include:

· Leading hands-on development and technical architecture.

· Integrating identity verification, payments and video meetings.

· Building privacy, security and GDPR compliance into the platform.

· Defining the technical roadmap and building the development team as the company grows.

· Contributing to product strategy and key company decisions.

Your experience

· Strong full-stack development skills.

· A track record of building and launching digital products, ideally platforms or marketplaces.

· Previous CTO experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.

· The ability to prioritise and make practical technical decisions in an early-stage startup.

· Clear communication in English; Swedish is an advantage.

· An interest in solving student housing challenges through technology.

Terms and compensation

The role requires 20 hours per week, working remotely or from Gotland. You will join a Swedish startup that values innovation, teamwork and making student housing safer and more accessible.

Ett tak is an early-stage startup and no salary is currently offered. For the right person, participation in an option programme may be offered after six months, subject to mutual agreement and agreed terms.
