About The Company
Russell Taylor Group Ltd is recruiting a Customer Service Executive to join a growing team following a recent company expansion. The business supports customers with products and services designed to meet their needs, and this role will help ensure business customers receive responsive, professional support throughout their customer journey. You will be joining a collaborative team where customer relationships, clear communication, and reliable service are important. This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing operation while developing your skills and building a career in customer service.
About The Role
As a Customer Service Executive, you will be a key point of contact for business customers, helping them access information, resolve queries, and get the best value from the company’s products and services. You will support customers from their initial interactions and onboarding through to ongoing account management. The role combines service, sales support, and relationship building, so you will need to balance a helpful, customer-focused approach with an understanding of suitable products and services. You will also work with colleagues to maintain accurate customer information and follow established processes.
This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of £26,000. The role is hybrid, providing a combination of workplace collaboration and flexibility. It would suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers, solving problems, and taking a proactive approach to making each interaction positive and useful.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer service role is required. Experience supporting business customers, assisting with sales or onboarding, or managing customer accounts would be beneficial, but the ability to communicate clearly and deliver considerate service is essential. You should be confident listening to customer needs, asking relevant questions, and explaining information in a straightforward way.
The successful candidate will bring strong communication and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. You should be organised, able to keep accurate records, and comfortable following company procedures. A willingness to learn about the company’s products and services, work collaboratively, and take ownership of customer queries will help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
You will act as the first point of contact for business customers, responding to enquiries professionally and directing requests appropriately. You will support sales activity and customer onboarding, helping new customers understand the services available and providing a smooth introduction to the business. You will also contact dormant accounts to re-engage customers, identify their current needs, and explore relevant ways the company may be able to support them.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be central to your work. You will promote products and services that are appropriate to each customer’s needs, while ensuring conversations remain helpful and informative. When issues arise, you will investigate and resolve them as quickly and professionally as possible, keeping customers updated where needed. You will maintain accurate records of interactions, account details, and follow-up actions, and consistently follow company processes and service standards.
Benefits
The position offers a £26,000 basic salary, 25 days of annual holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days, and hybrid working. You will also have access to a pension scheme with up to 7% employer matching and private medical cover after successful completion of probation. Additional benefits include a supportive team environment and opportunities for career progression as the company continues to grow.
Equal Opportunity
