Customer Service Representative

This position contributes to The Krusteaz Company’s continued success by providing the highest level of customer order management services to Continental Mill’s customers, providing value added solutions to meet customer’s supply chain needs most efficiently, and working effectively in a team-based environment. This person will receive and process orders, proactively identify opportunities to improve our service to our customers and make recommendations accordingly.

Essential Functions: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

• Create/maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
• Effectively and efficiently manage all day-to-day order management activities for assigned customer base.
• Represent department and the voice of the customer in product commercialization projects.
• Proactively identifies and resolves service issues, coordinating as necessary with necessary stakeholders.
• Remain current on customer’s supply chain requirements.
• Ensure orders meet Continental Mills and customer requirements.
• Resolve complex order management problems by defining the problem, evaluating possible solutions, and making recommendations to stakeholders.
• Perform vendor managed inventory duties as assigned. Includes forecasting, joint goal setting, and managing activities across Supply Chain Planning, Sales & the Customer, both Buyers & Supply Chain personnel.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to develop and assimilate data to maximize CM execution in the areas of customer service and data synchronization.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years’ progressive customer service experience required, food industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems

Hybrid Work Model: At The Krusteaz Company, we have in-office "core days" of Tuesdays and Wednesdays where all corporate employees are expected to be onsite. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays are flexible remote days to allow for work/life balance. You may be asked to come in outside of a core day from time to time, based on business needs. Salary Information: An employee in this position based out of Washington State can expect an hourly range between $27.49 and $39.86. We typically pay out between $28.85 and $36.54 per hour. The actual salary offered will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone along with reaching. Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work. Moderate noise, ability to work in a confined area, and ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
