Customs Analyst Your Responsibilities Prepare import declarations, customs transit declarations, and value declarations, ensuring compliance with the client’s instructions and current customs regulations. Verify that transaction documentation meets legal and foreign trade requirements, ensuring streamlined and smooth processes. Manage the acceptance and release of declarations with the DIAN, ensuring the timeliness and continuity of import operations. Identify and report inconsistencies in transaction documentation, proposing solutions that contribute to efficient, high-quality management. Propose improvements to the declaration preparation processes, optimizing turnaround times, reducing rework, and enhancing the customer experience. Your Profile Education: Technical or Vocational Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration, or related fields; if this requirement is not met, the candidate must have 2 years of experience in a similar role. Training: Customs legislation, proficiency in office software and programs for customs operations, and customer service. Experience: 2 years. Specific Knowledge: Customs knowledge required for preparing import declarations, customs transit declarations, and Andean value declarations; document analysis for import operations under various customs regimes; verification of regulatory compliance in customs documentation; and risk management in customs operations.
