Cybersecurity Engineer – OT & Manufacturing

  • €450–€500 per day
  • 9-Month Contract
  • Hybrid Working

An excellent opportunity for a cybersecurity professional looking to broaden their experience and move further into the world of Operational Technology (OT) security. Join a leading global healthcare organisation and play a key role in strengthening cybersecurity across a complex manufacturing environment.

Working across IT, OT and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), you'll collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Operations and Corporate IT to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks and implement security improvements. You'll also report directly to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), giving you valuable exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to influence how cybersecurity is approached across the site.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone looking to step beyond a traditional IT security position, develop specialist OT cybersecurity expertise and take on greater ownership within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Why You'll Love It

  • Develop specialist expertise: Build your experience across OT security, industrial networks and critical manufacturing infrastructure.
  • Take on greater ownership: Get involved in cybersecurity initiatives from risk assessment through to implementation and remediation.
  • Gain senior exposure: Work directly with the SLT and cross-functional teams, giving you visibility and influence beyond a typical technical security role.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and threat modelling across IT and OT environments.
  • Work with Engineering and Automation teams to strengthen industrial systems, network security and infrastructure protection.
  • Support the implementation of cybersecurity controls, incident response, audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity, ideally within manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, food production or another regulated industry.
  • Experience in areas such as security operations, vulnerability management, risk assessments, network security or incident response.
  • An interest in OT/ICS security, with exposure to industrial environments or control systems considered a strong advantage.
