Job description:
You'll report to the Head of Security Operations and lead day-to-day Security Operations Centre (SOC) activity, security monitoring, alert triage and operational service delivery across dentsu. You'll also oversee the remaining TAG endpoint security operations activities during integration and act as the primary operational contact for TAG stakeholders. Your focus will be on improving SOC processes, ensuring timely incident handovers and helping technology teams prioritise and track vulnerability remediation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day SOC operations, including security monitoring, alert triage and service delivery.
- Improve operational maturity through process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.
- Work with the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) to ensure timely escalation and handover of incidents that require formal incident response.
- Oversee the remaining TAG endpoint security operations activities and serve as the primary operational contact for TAG stakeholders.
- Support vulnerability management across dentsu through operational visibility, metrics and reporting.
- Track remediation progress and escalate overdue or high-risk vulnerabilities.
- Work with technology teams to support remediation planning and prioritisation.
- Contribute to improvements in vulnerability management, governance and reporting.
- Manage and mentor junior analysts.
Professional skills
- Use analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to investigate issues, supported by research, data collation and analysis.
- Organise and prioritise your work, manage multiple deadlines and respond effectively during high-pressure situations.
- Present technical and non-technical information clearly, verbally and in writing, with attention to detail.
- Produce security documentation and technical analysis reports.
- Build relationships with peers and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bring experience managing and mentoring junior analysts.
