Program Description The Data Analyst Traineeship is a remote program focused on supporting data-driven decision-making for the MedTourEasy platform. On a day-to-day basis, the trainee will collect, clean, and organize data from various sources related to patient engagement and platform usage. The program involves performing basic data analysis, creating reports and dashboards, and assisting in developing data models that support operational and strategic initiatives. The trainee will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret findings, prepare clear presentations, and contribute to improvements in workflows and performance metrics. Guidance and mentorship will be provided to help the trainee build practical skills in data analytics within a healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data trends and derive actionable insights.
• Foundational knowledge of Data Analytics, including data cleaning, visualization, and basic reporting.
• Understanding of Statistics, such as descriptive statistics and basic inferential concepts.
• Basic experience or coursework in Data Modeling, including structuring data for analysis and reporting.
• Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and introductory experience with analytics tools or languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
• Interest in healthcare technology, patient engagement, or digital health platforms.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and learn new tools and concepts quickly.
