Join our team and what we’ll accomplish together

TELUS Health Retirement and Benefits Solutions administers pension and benefits plans for client organizations across Canada and the United States, supporting approximately nine million members. For nearly 30 years, we've provided fully automated administration services built on our Ariel platform.

Our mission is to support clients in designing and delivering the compensation, benefits, pension, and health management programs they offer their people.

Our team is looking for a Data Conversion Analyst to help move legacy client data into modern, reliable systems. You'll learn from experienced conversion leads, work hands-on with real client datasets, and build a foundation for a long-term career in pension and benefits administration.

What's in it for you

  • Remote flexibility: Work 100% remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with occasional travel when it makes sense.
  • Meaningful work: Contribute to conversions that support retirement and benefits programs for approximately nine million members across North America.
  • Structured growth: Receive mentorship from senior conversion leads and hands-on training on TELUS Health's administration platform.
  • Specialized expertise: Build knowledge in pension and benefits administration, a stable and in-demand field.
  • Competitive total rewards: Customize your benefits package to fit your life, backed by competitive compensation.

What you'll do

Data Conversion

  • Analyze and validate legacy client data against conversion specifications and business rules.
  • Support data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation, and document your findings clearly.
  • Run queries and checks to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors before they affect production.
  • Support testing cycles by documenting results and logging issues for resolution.

Client and Team Collaboration

  • Prepare materials and capture notes and action items for client data workshops and meetings.
  • Help explain TELUS Health's data structures and business rules to client teams in clear, practical terms.
  • Share progress updates and data issues with project managers and senior team members.
  • Work with Data Managers and subject matter experts to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute ideas to make conversion checklists, documentation, and processes clearer and more efficient.

What you bring

Must-haves

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years in data analysis, data conversion, data migration, or a related field.
  • Work authorization: Authorized to work in the United States. Available for occasional travel within the U.S.
  • SQL: Working knowledge of SQL to query, analyze, and validate data.
  • Microsoft Excel: Comfortable using formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with pension, benefits, or group insurance administration.
  • Exposure to T-SQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience documenting requirements, test cases, or data mapping specifications.
  • Interest in data quality and process improvement.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, even if the posted salary range doesn't match your expectations. We're open to discussing competitive compensation packages tailored to your experience level and expertise.

TELUS Health offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:

  • Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
