POSITION SUMMARY
The Fresh Air Fund is recruiting Data Entry Associates to work on the Enrollment team under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment and Outreach Coordinator. They will assist with all aspects of the application process by receiving and entering all paperwork in the CRM and assisting with application review and completion. This is a hybrid role that will require remote and in-person attendance. It may require evening and weekend hours. This is a part-time “at-will” position for the period November 2026 through March 2027, with the potential for extension based on organizational needs.
The Data Entry Associate will help with all aspects of the application process including entering all paperwork in the CRM and communicating with NYC parents to complete child applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter application data into internal database
- Scan and upload documents to applicant records
- Work closely with Director and Outreach Enrollment Coordinator to ensure data accuracy
- Work closely with the Community Outreach Team to upload information in the CRM as necessary
- Assist with application review and completion
- Assist with conducting virtual/ in-person information and orientation sessions regarding summer programs
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfort speaking with families over the phone and in person.
- Patient and friendly, with a high degree of professionalism.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Bilingual and fluency in languages other than English a plus (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, ASL).
- Interest in joining a youth development organization and supporting its mission and vision.
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, The Fresh Air Fund requires all employees to meet applicable vaccination requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. As new public health issues arise, The Fresh Air Fund may require additional vaccinations. Proof of vaccination or an approved exemption will be required as a condition of employment, if applicable.
This role will primarily be in the NYC Office and in NYC, with occasional remote work.
Hours per Week: 20-25 hours per week, from November 23, 2026, through March 5th, 2027
Working Hours: Staff will be assigned work hours that fall between 9am-7pm, Monday – Friday. It may require evening and weekend hours as needed.
Compensation: $19/hour
Employment Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, “at-will”
