Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk Assistant to join our remote team. This entry-level position supports daily business operations by entering and updating information, maintaining digital records, processing documents, and providing general administrative assistance.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, working with spreadsheets and digital documents, following established procedures, and completing routine assignments accurately and on time.

Previous professional data entry or office experience is not required. Training and guidance will be provided to qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Record Maintenance

  • Enter and update information in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.

  • Identify missing, duplicate, or incorrect information.
  • Correct routine errors when authorized.

Data Quality & Reporting

  • Review records for obvious errors or missing information.
  • Compare information across approved sources when required.
  • Perform routine data-quality checks.
  • Update tracking reports using established templates.
  • Compile information for basic reports and summaries.
  • Flag discrepancies requiring additional review.
  • Help maintain accurate and current business information.

Operations Support

  • Assist with routine daily operational activities.
  • Track assignments, deadlines, and outstanding action items.
  • Update project and operational trackers.
  • Follow up on routine tasks when requested.
  • Help maintain organized workflows.
  • Coordinate routine information between team members.
  • Escalate unresolved data or administrative issues appropriately.

Communication & Team Support

  • Communicate professionally through email, chat, and virtual meetings.
  • Respond to routine internal administrative requests.

  • Coordinate with colleagues to resolve routine documentation or data issues.

Required Qualifications
