About the Role We are seeking an all-round Data Governance Consultant to support our clients in building and maturing their data governance capabilities. This role is broad in scope — you will work across strategy, operating model design, policy development, and stakeholder engagement, helping organisations embed a culture of data ownership and accountability. What You’ll Do Lead and support data governance strategy engagements across industries. Design and implement data governance operating models, including roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures. Develop data policies, standards, and procedures tailored to client needs. Facilitate working sessions with data owners, stewards, and executive sponsors. Assess current-state DG maturity and define target-state roadmaps. Support clients in selecting and deploying governance tooling (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Ataccama). Produce high-quality governance artefacts and client-facing deliverables. What You’ll Need Broad data governance experience spanning strategy, policy, and operating model design. Familiarity with data governance frameworks including DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, or equivalent. Track record of delivering DG programmes in complex enterprise environments. Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences. Experience working with data governance tooling (Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, or similar). Consultancy or advisory background preferred.
