[Recruiting Challengers to Support Patient-Centric Healthcare Experiences with Data]

The company has primarily focused on supporting and improving the operational efficiency of pharmacies by providing products for dispensing pharmacies. However, to improve future healthcare, the company believes it is essential to collaborate with pharmacies, position them as the starting point for a "patient-centric healthcare experience," and support mechanisms that encourage patients themselves to positively engage with their care ("Patient Engagement").

To realize this vision, they are developing services that utilize operational data from pharmacies and personal data accumulated through their products to visualize, analyze, and encourage changes in patient behavior and awareness. The Data Scientist will be central to this effort. They are seeking colleagues who can deeply understand the needs and touchpoints of patients, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals through data, and deliver valuable insights to the products and services.

Responsibilities

In this new business venture (Patient-Centric Healthcare Experience), the individual will engage in the following duties:

・Contributing to product/service development that promotes behavioral changes in patients and healthcare professionals through the analysis of the pharmaceutical market and prescription patterns.

・Supporting decision-making for product improvement, including NSM/KPI design and data visualization.

・Assisting with the design and construction of data marts and DWH (Data Warehouse) for the data analysis foundation.

[Team Structure]

Full-time employees: 4 members (1 EM, 3 DS/DA)

This recruitment is for a position within the development organization.

You will collaborate with a team of analysts specialized in medical data (3 members) to drive service development from both the business and product perspectives.

The company is actively utilizing Generative AI not only for product applications but also for productivity improvement. A cross-departmental AI utilization community exists, where engineers, PdMs, and designers irregularly share knowledge and hold study sessions, collectively seeking effective utilization across the company. 3+ years of experience extracting data using SQL

5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and problem-solving

Practical experience with statistics and machine learning using Python or similar tools

Fundamental understanding of databases

Experience utilizing data with high security requirements, particularly in healthcare

Experience collaborating with Product Managers and engineers to improve products during development
