As we expand, we’re implementing systems like OrangeHRM and other HR technologies to better manage our growing team. Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain our HR management systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SQL and experience with PHP-based hosting environments . This person will play a critical role in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining our HR platforms, ensuring data accuracy, security, and system performance. Responsibilities Configure and maintain HR systems such as OrangeHRM or other PHP/MySQL-based applications. Manage SQL databases: create tables, run queries, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity. Support system setup and troubleshooting on shared hosting environments (InfinityFree or similar). Collaborate with HR and leadership to import/export employee data (e.g., CSV, Excel integration). Identify and resolve technical issues related to database errors, permissions, and integrations. Implement best practices for data security, backups, and recovery. Provide technical documentation for processes and configurations. Qualifications Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, MariaDB, or equivalent) . Experience with PHP hosting environments (cPanel, InfinityFree, or similar). Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug and resolve database/system errors. Familiarity with HR management systems (e.g., OrangeHRM, IceHRM, Bitrix24) is a plus. Knowledge of data import/export best practices (CSV, Excel). Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. Nice-to-Haves Experience with cloud hosting and database scaling. Knowledge of system administration, including Apache/Nginx configuration. Understanding of HR workflows and HRIS/ATS systems.
