Role : Datadog Senior Consultant
Location: 100% Remote – USA
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience: 12+ Years
Rate: $55/hr on C2C/1099 Max
Visa : USC/GC
Role Overview:
Looking for a Senior Datadog / Data Reliability Consultant who can independently architect and implement a Datadog Data Observability platform from the ground up.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on Datadog Data Observability implementation experience
- Proven experience building monitoring/observability frameworks from scratch
- Expert Python skills for custom Datadog SDK/API instrumentation
- Strong experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
- Hands-on dbt monitoring, model execution, and test-failure analysis
- Strong AWS Athena & S3 experience
- Data pipeline monitoring, schema/payload drift, data freshness, volume anomalies, and query performance
- 7+ years of Data Engineering / Data Reliability / Observability experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Important:
- Candidates whose experience is primarily Snowflake or Databricks without strong Datadog + AWS Athena/S3 + dbt experience are not a match.
