📚 About the Seminary

The Seminary for Digital Discipleship (SDD) is the theological education ministry of Christcord Church. It exists to equip believers, emerging leaders, and digital ministers with accessible, Christ-centered training tailored for a modern, online world. SDD offers structured courses, certificates, and diplomas built on sound doctrine, practical ministry skills, and the unique challenges and opportunities of digital church life.

All programs are provided under religious exemption, combining curated free and open-access resources with original content, mentorship, and peer discussion in a non-accredited but academically rich format.

🧭 About the Role

The Dean of the Seminary for Digital Discipleship will serve as the primary visionary and academic leader of the seminary. Working under the Executive Pastor and in partnership with the Christcord leadership team, the Dean is responsible for overseeing curriculum development, faculty recruitment, student experience, and theological integrity across all seminary offerings.

This role is ideal for someone with a heart for discipleship, a passion for digital ministry, and the ability to balance spiritual formation with educational structure.

🎓 Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and review of all courses and program pathways

• Provide theological and academic leadership to instructors, mentors, and students

• Recruit, vet, and support volunteer instructors or course facilitators

• Ensure all content remains biblically faithful, Christ-centered, and practically applicable

• Collaborate with church leadership to align seminary vision with Christcord’s broader mission

• Monitor student progress, engagement, and support systems

• Develop new ideas for certifications, ministry tracks, and digital learning strategies

🕒 Time Commitment

This is a volunteer executive-level role, with an expected commitment of 5–10 hours per week, consistent with other leadership positions during Christcord’s launch and early development.

• Strong foundation in biblical theology and Christian education

• Experience teaching, designing, or administrating ministry or theological programs

• Familiarity with digital discipleship and online learning models

• A heart for equipping others and raising up future leaders in non-traditional spaces

• Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills

• Supportive of Christcord’s values of Christ-centered theology and radical inclusivity

A master’s or doctoral degree in theology, divinity, ministry, or Christian education is preferred but not required if spiritual maturity and ministry experience are demonstrated.
