Delivery Manager – Cyber Uplift Program (Federal Government)

ASJ Tech is looking for experienced Delivery Managers to lead a major cyber security uplift program at a large federal government agency. You’ll coordinate complex cyber initiatives across multiple workstreams, keeping integrated schedules, dependencies and risks on track to deliver the program’s milestones.

About the role

• Level: EL1 equivalent
• Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide. You’ll work onsite for the first 6 weeks, then hybrid with at least 3 days a week in the office.
• Start date: 1 February 2027
• Contract: Up to 12 months, with extensions up to a maximum of 24 months
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Clearance: Must hold a current NV1

What you’ll do

• Coordinate delivery of cyber security uplift initiatives across multiple projects and workstreams
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules and delivery roadmaps across the program
• Manage dependencies across cyber security, infrastructure, identity, cloud, security operations, risk remediation and compliance
• Track delivery against milestones, and identify schedule, resource and dependency risks
• Run delivery forums and planning sessions, and prepare status reports and executive dashboards
• Manage interdependencies between vendors, contractors and internal teams to resolve delivery blockers

What you’ll bring

• A proven track record delivering cyber security uplift, cyber resilience, remediation or compliance programs in large, complex government or regulated environments
• Hands-on application of the PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight and NIST
• Experience managing integrated schedules across large multi-stream programs, covering areas such as vulnerability management, IAM, SecOps, cloud security and accreditation
• Strong grounding in PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, PMP and hybrid delivery approaches
• The ability to engage and influence senior executives, technical specialists, business stakeholders and external providers
• Australian Government experience (highly regarded)
