ABOUT US:

Gisou is born out of a passion for bees and haircare, based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, our products are inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden.

At Gisou we are on a mission to share our HONEY GLOW. As a rapidly growing scale-up, we're dedicated to crafting iconic beauty products, and building a world-class team to drive our vision and brand forward. We are talent obsessed and deeply believe that the raw skills of our people, and their collective brilliance is what makes us truly extraordinary!

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Demand Planner at Gisou, you will play a pivotal role in building a world-class demand planning and S&OP capability from the ground up. This is a role for a high-performing, experienced planner who combines strong analytical depth with business partnership and an execution mindset. You will own the demand planning process and forecast, while designing the tools, datasets, governance and operating drumbeats that turn demand planning into a reliable decision-making engine for the business. You will be expected to move comfortably from

SKU-level detail and data validation to senior cross-functional discussions, continuously improving forecast

accuracy while building scalable capabilities for Gisou's future growth. Key responsibilities include:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Owning the end-to-end demand planning process across products, markets and channels, delivering a robust unconstrained demand forecast that provides a reliable foundation for supply, inventory and financial planning.

• Building and continuously improving Gisou's S&OP demand process from the ground up, including process design, governance, meeting structure, calendars, inputs, outputs, decision rights and cross-functional drumbeats.

• Driving high and continuously improving forecast accuracy and reducing bias through rigorous performance measurement, root-cause analysis, segmentation and targeted corrective actions at SKU, customer, channel, market and portfolio level.

• Creating the demand planning toolset and analytical infrastructure required to scale the function, including datasets, planning models, dashboards, reporting, master-data structures and clear sources of truth.

• Developing statistical baselines and applying appropriate forecasting methodologies, while incorporating commercial intelligence on promotions, launches, distribution changes, customer plans, market dynamics and other demand drivers.

• Leading the monthly demand review and preparing clear, decision-oriented S&OP inputs that highlight the consensus forecast, assumptions, risks, opportunities, scenarios and key gaps requiring business decisions.

• Partnering deeply with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Finance, Product Development and Supply Planning to challenge assumptions, reconcile different views of demand and establish one aligned consensus forecast.

• Deep-diving into forecast misses and demand signals to understand what changed and why, distinguishing structural trends from one-off events and converting findings into better assumptions, models and future decisions.

• Building strong launch and promotional forecasting capabilities, establishing assumptions and post-event learning loops to improve the accuracy of future launches, campaigns and commercial activities.

• Establishing disciplined data quality and planning routines, proactively identifying gaps in history, master data or commercial inputs and working with stakeholders to resolve them rather than planning around unreliable information.

• Connecting short-term demand signals with medium- and long-term outlooks, ensuring the forecast supports both immediate execution and longer-term capacity, inventory, sourcing and financial decisions.

• Acting as a hands-on builder and change agent: creating practical solutions where processes or tools do not yet exist, testing and refining them quickly, documenting standards and embedding sustainable ways of working across the organization

WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a high-performing demand planning professional who possesses:

• 6+ years of dedicated Demand Planning experience, ideally within a fast-growing consumer, beauty, FMCG, retail or comparable multi-channel environment with meaningful SKU, market and channel complexity.

• Proven ownership of a demand forecast and a strong track record of improving forecast accuracy and bias through structured analysis, process discipline and cross-functional collaboration.

• Hands-on experience building, redesigning or significantly strengthening S&OP / IBP demand planning processes, including the operating calendar, demand review, governance, KPIs and cross-functional routines.

• A builder mindset and demonstrated ability to create planning capabilities from scratch, including tools, models, datasets, dashboards, templates, processes and recurring business drumbeats rather than relying only on established systems.

• Exceptional analytical capability and attention to detail, with the willingness to deep dive into SKU-level data, investigate anomalies and understand the underlying drivers behind forecast performance.

• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand segmentation, forecast accuracy and bias metrics, baseline forecasting, promotions, new product introductions and lifecycle management.

• Advanced Excel and data-management skills; experience with BI tools and demand planning / S&OP systems is strongly preferred. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP environments is an advantage.

• Strong business partnering and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge commercial assumptions constructively and translate data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• An execution-oriented, proactive working style with high ownership, comfortable operating in ambiguity, prioritizing multiple workstreams and solving problems without waiting for perfect information or fully developed processes.

• The ability to balance short-term detail with long-term capability building, maintaining operational excellence today while designing scalable processes and tools for future growth.

• Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in an international, entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving environment.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • 1 day of remote working per week.

  • Subsidised fresh daily lunch via our partner Feedr, plus drinks and snacks provided in the office.

  • Regular team activities and drinks.

  • Contribution towards ClassPass membership.

  • Mental health support via OpenUp.

  • Ability to lease a bike with a small employer contribution.

  • Every year, you’ll receive a personal employee gift card.

At Gisou, you’ll be part of an ambitious, fast-growing beauty company with an international, dynamic, and collaborative atmosphere. You’ll join a team of creative powerhouses and bold thinkers who bring out the best in each other and work together to build something iconic.

Growth here isn’t a side benefit it’s part of the journey. As our business continues to evolve globally, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to stretch your skills, push your boundaries, and shape the future of beauty with us.
