Depositary Operations Specialist, Senior Associate

Who we are looking for We are looking for an Operations Specialist, who will work under supervision of Manager and be engage in various projects, special analysis and initiatives relating to technical aspects of the business. You will act as a process SME and provide technical support to Depositary Supervisor and teams to ensure all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. Depositary is an EMEA specific regulatory function with Fiduciary duty to the end investor. European investment funds, whether UCITS or AIF, must appoint a Depositary in accordance with the UCITS and AIFM Directives. The Depositary is responsible for the safekeeping of the investment fund’s assets and therefore ensures separation of those assets from the management of the fund. In addition, the depositary is required to perform oversight functions and, in this way, oversees certain activities of the fund manager such as valuation of the fund assets and monitoring of fund cash flows. What you will be responsible for As Depositary Operations Specialist, you will Actively reviews and prepares Depositary tasks (all Clients) relating to safekeeping, cash flow monitoring and oversight activities. Liaise with clients (internal & external) and supporting departments for the purpose of obtaining key inputs to service delivery, resolving errors and discrepancies. Assists Manager in the organization of the Team and in ensuring that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to. Identify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary corrective action. Ensure the issues log is updated and track progress. Take responsibility for analysis and streamlining depositary controls, work with other SMEs to create a unified process flow, standardizing processes and establishing best practice Participate as technical SME in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products relating to the ongoing business transformation process. Provide regular progress reports and give feedback during project meetings. Identify process inefficiencies, apply lean approach and work with team members in order to generate efficiency savings. Education & Preferred Qualifications At least +2 years of relevant working experience preferably in fund accounting/ Alternative Investments Bachelor’s degree, preferable in finance, accounting, economic or STEM Knowledge of AIFMD, CSSF regulations would be an advantage Geneva, Investran knowledge is consider as an asset Experience in creating Excel Reports Access, VBA, SQL, Xceptor knowledge is considered as an asset #LiHybrid Minimum Salary: ​ zł87 000 Annual The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
