Dev Ops Engineer

Salary Bracket: PKR 100K–150K

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong backend development skills who enjoys building things, solving technical challenges, and making systems work better.

You'll work on real-world projects for international clients, building and maintaining backend services, streamlining deployments, and improving cloud infrastructure. You'll collaborate with developers across teams, explore modern technologies, and take ownership of solutions that make a real difference.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Python.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments to GCP across development, staging, and production environments.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable releases.
• Build and maintain database schemas, optimize queries, and manage data integrity in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT/OAuth2) and manage environment configurations and secrets securely.
• Handle server-side logic, caching, background jobs, and asynchronous processes.
• Integrate external APIs, webhooks, and third-party services, including AI/LLM APIs where required.
• Monitor application health, debug, and resolve backend and production issues.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code aligned with clean architecture principles.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and project managers to deliver features on time.
• Document APIs, deployment steps, and backend processes using Swagger/OpenAPI.

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in backend development with exposure to DevOps practices.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js/Express/NestJS) or Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Experience with Golang is a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with API design, versioning, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and deploying applications on GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
