The HMRC Low Value Imports (LVI) Programme is an IBM team that will deliver the technology and operational capabilities required to implement the Government's reformed approach to taxing low-value goods imported into the UK. The programme will create a secure, scalable and user-centric digital service that will support traders, online marketplaces and carriers in meeting their customs obligations, while improving compliance, reducing fraud and protecting tax revenues. Through integration with existing customs and border systems, the solution will modernise the end-to-end management of low-value imports and support HMRC's long-term customs transformation strategy.
