Key Responsibilities
Battery prototypes, including cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly
Design, plan and build of test rigs and associated hardware
Conduct experiments to evaluate battery performance, including cycling tests, thermal tests, and electrical tests
Analyse test data and provide feedback to the engineering team
Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions to improve battery performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new battery products and technologies
Maintain laboratory equipment and tools, and ensure a clean and organized work environment
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of battery build and testing processes
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 3 years of experience in battery assembly and testing
Hands-on experience with battery cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly
Experience with battery cycling testing, thermal testing, and electrical testing
Familiarity with battery chemistry and materials is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and regulations
